# Medication history

## Every dose given

The medication history is the record of every dose that was marked as given: which cat, which medication, how much and when. It is useful for the vet, and for checking whether the morning dose really was given.

The doses are grouped by day, the newest day first. Each row shows:

- the time the dose was given,
- the cat, the medication and the amount,
- "given" with the time, and "planned" with the plan's time when the two differ, for example "given 8:10 PM · planned 8:00 PM",
- a note, if someone added one.

The cat cards at the top filter the list to one cat and show how many doses each cat has had. Tap the same card again, or **All cats**, to see all doses.

The screen starts with the last 30 days ("**Showing doses since** …" on the cards). Tap **Show 30 days more** at the bottom to go further back, a month at a time.

Each dose keeps the name and amount of its medication as they were when it was given. So the history stays complete even after a plan has been changed or deleted.

A dose ticked off on another device appears here within about a minute.

## Correct or delete a dose

Sometimes the record isn't quite right: someone tapped the banner an hour after giving the tablet, or the cat only got half the dose. You can correct the record afterwards.

*[Image: The Edit dose dialog with the time given, the dose and a note]*

1. Tap the pencil next to the dose. The **Edit dose** dialog shows the cat, the medication, the day and the planned time.
2. Change **Given at** to the time the cat really got the medication.
3. Change the **Dose** if a different amount was given.
4. Add **Notes**, for example "Spat half of it out".
5. Tap **Save**.

The day and the planned time can't be changed; they belong to the plan.

To delete a record, open it with the pencil, tap the trash can and confirm. The dose then counts as not given. If it is one of today's doses and its time has passed, it shows as due again, with the red banner. Use this when a dose was ticked off by mistake.
